Field Internship

Field Internship - Five Seasons Landscape Management goal is to provide each intern with the hands-on knowledge and skills to build their resume and their career path by spending time in each department and learning different aspects of the landscape business.

Internship Rotation

Intern will rotate through each department, spending approximately one week in hands-
on work and instruction. Actual rotation order and time to be determined but will include:

  • Commercial Mowing
  • Landscape Enhancements/Installation
  • Design Build Construction
  • Lawn Care
  • Irrigation
  • Production and Account Management
  • Ownership/HR/Branch Management/Accounting

Internship Criteria

Currently enrolled in a high school or college program related to the landscape or green industry.

Able to perform physically required job tasks such as:

  • Using your hands to grab/pull/push/grip
  • Lifting up to 50 LBS
  • Able to be trained to operate landscape and mowing equipment and hand tools
  • Walking up to 5 miles per day while operating equipment
  • Able to be trained to drive company vehicles with trailer attached
  • Have a learning and positive attitude
